Abstract Partnerships are demanded to implement a more integrated approach sustainable development problems. The complex character of sustainability requires the participation many societal spheres resolve them. Sustainable Development Goal #17 “Strengthen means implementation and revitalize global partnership for development” recognizes multi‐stakeholder partnerships as important vehicles mobilizing sharing knowledge, expertise, technologies, financial resources support achievement SDGs in all countries. Innovation Ecosystems (IE) dynamic purposive multi‐stakeholders' networks with relationships built on trust, co‐creation value, exchange complementary technologies or competencies. Few studies investigated IEs relating specially within SDGs. This study provides descriptive analysis relationship between IE SDGs, concerning question about how framework can orient SDG implementation. methodology is based literature review documents from United Nations, available at UN Knowledge Platform ‐ 2021. Four core drivers were identified discussed: Geographical Governance, Collaboration, Transmission, Value co‐creation. Considering lens, be addressed purpose engaging Major Groups, which key contributors terms being part challenges solutions. There need prepare stakeholders ecosystem conscious aware innovations. Future research should include describing methods measure performance considering empirical analyze roles relations Groups.
